In their hotly-anticipated follow-up to the hilarious Shiva Baby (Frameline44), writer/director Emma Seligman reteams with co-writer and star Rachel Sennott for Bottoms, a film destined for cult classic status. Bottoms follows a pair of unpopular queer high schooler seniors — PJ (Sennott) and Josie (Ayo Edebiri, Theater Camp, Frameline47; The Bear) — who evade potential expulsion by starting an extracurricular, school-sanctioned fight club… even if the club is really just a way for PJ and Josie to try to hook up with cheerleaders.

A refreshingly unique and hysterically raunchy comedy which proved to be the hot ticket at this year’s SXSW Film Festival, Bottoms also stars Havana Rose Liu (No Exit), Kaia Gerber (American Horror Story), Nicholas Galitzine (Cinderella), Miles Fowler (The Resident), football star and Bay Area darling Marshawn Lynch (80 for Brady), and Dagmara Dominiczyk (Succession). Seligman and Sennott also executive produce.
