Still Around is a feature length compilation of 15 short films about HIV/AIDS that weaves a diverse slate of stories into one powerful video AIDS quilt of our times. By connecting well-known filmmakers with individuals who are living with HIV/AIDS, the voices of women, men, gay and straight, transgender, young and old, and from many ethnic backgrounds come together to paint an unmatched emotional portrait of how people thrive and survive in the face of long term illness. All individuals showcased are from the Bay Area, as are the filmmakers who tell their stories.
