We're excited to keep you in the loop on all things Frameline (with no spam - ever!)
When codependent besties Joey and Craig suddenly find their house uninhabitable, a possible answer to all their problems appears in the form of a narcissistic space alien named Brian who favors track suits and loves a dance interlude. One mere sensual touch from Brian makes all of your anxieties and past traumas melt away and Joey and Craig quickly find themselves sucked into Brian's mesmerizing orbit. But is Brian secretly plotting world domination?
Following Hypochondriac (Frameline46), Touch Me is writer/director Addison Heimann’s provocative sophomore feature and it gleefully wears its influences on its sleeve, a colorful and inventive mishmash of sci-fi, hentai, and camp that often feels like a Gregg Araki fever dream. Olivia Taylor Dudley (The Magicians) and Jordan Gavaris (Hacks) do a sublime comedic balancing act as Joey and Craig, both aimless and drawn to the magnetic Brian, portrayed by Lou Taylor Pucci (Physical) in a wonderfully unhinged (and admittedly sexy) performance. Touch Me is a frenzied ride that does not let up until the very end.
