Of an Age is set in the summer of 1999 as a 17-year-old Serbian born, Australian amateur ballroom dancer experiences an unexpected and intense 24-hour romance with a friend’s older brother. Hailed as a “modern queer classic” by The Guardian and selected as the opening night film at the Melbourne International Film Festival, Of an Age is the sophomore film from Macedonian Australian director and frequent Frameline alum Goran Stolevski (You Won’t Be Alone) — who was named as one of Variety’s 10 Directors to Watch in 2022.
