We're excited to keep you in the loop on all things Frameline (with no spam - ever!)
Jo (series co-creator Bea Cordelia) is a trans woman in Chicago who craves romance and intimacy but has trouble finding either. Her best friend Carter (Daniel Kyri, Henry Gamble's Birthday Party, Frameline39) is a queer man at odds with a conservative religious upbringing. In the first episode of this powerful and well-acted episodic, the two friends meet for a fun New Year's Eve party.
As the year progresses, they face awkward hookups, nervous dates, and challenges in their friendship. Told through small moments and life-changing ones, these characters' stories feel wonderfully authentic and intimate. After the first two episodes proved to be an audience favorite at Frameline42, we're pleased to showcase the entire first season of the T at the Festival this year.
Frameline43 is thrilled to present two whip-smart, heartfelt dramedies centering on the transfeminine experience. In both the T and Razor Tongue, friendship and romance get tested by discriminatory forces, as well as bouts of crippling self-doubt.
