Group of Seven Inches

Directed by Kent Monkman & Gisèle Gordon2005Canada7 mins

The film is based on the condescending depiction of "romantic savages" to be found in the diaries of "American Indian" painters George Catlin (1796–1872) and Paul Kane (1810–1871). These artists are foiled with great relish by Miss Chief Testickle.

'Group of Seven Inches' is screening in:

Two Spirits: Sexuality, Gender, and the Murder of Fred Martinez

Sixteen-year-old Fred FC Martinez dressed as a girl one day, as a boy the next. Always purely himself, Fred was loved and accepted by his family. For such unapologetic authenticity, he was brutally murdered in 2001.
