Saïd lives in Saumur with his family. He can't wait for his adopted "big brother" Karim's visit. For Saïd, his return reveals feelings which have been buried for a long time. Between the thoughtlessness of his mother, the rivalry of his sister, and Karim's lies, he becomes disillusioned.
