Nocturne is a taut chamber drama, set in a musty suburban estate. A young woman is living on her own. She is intrigued by a young female couple who visit her home. She is forced to revisit her past and reawaken memories from her convent education. She addresses unresolved issues, which are satisfied after she is seduced by one of her house guests. She finds herself deserted the following morning and also discovers a burglary.
