Following his lover’s fatal drug overdose, Yolanda (Cristina S. Pascual), a bolero singer and drug addict, seeks refuge in the Convent of Humble Redeemers, an enclosure dedicated to the rescue of wayward women with a past in drugs, prostitution, and murder. No redemption is in sight as this haphazardly run convent turns out to house a kitsch collection of vices and sins involving heroin, LSD, a tiger, and erotic books. Frequent visits by old lovers and police officers also turn this house of worship into an ultimate farce.
