Bertrand is a 12-year-old runaway kid who meets Boris, a strange man who saves him from trouble, after he tries to steal something to eat in a supermarket. An odd relationship ensues.

Bertrand disparu is anchored by a standout performance from Nini Crépon as a flamboyant drag queen and bon vivant named Boris who offers his platonic protection of a (straight) twelve-year-old boy runaway wandering the streets of Paris.
