Frameline's mission is to change the world through the power of queer cinema. As a media arts non-profit, Frameline's programs connect filmmakers and audiences in San Francisco and around the world. Frameline's integrated programs provide critical funding for emerging LGBTQ+ filmmakers, reach hundreds of thousands with a collection of more than 250 films distributed nationally, inspire thousands of students through Youth In Motion, which sends free films and curricula to schools across the nation, and creates an international stage for the world's best queer film through the San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival and additional screenings and cinematic events.
Operations & Systems Manager
The Operations & Systems Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all year-round administrative and operational functions of Frameline's exhibition programs; including the annual Film Festival, year-round screenings, and special events. Additionally, the position would manage org-wide human resources and ensure a cohesive infrastructure for year-round effectiveness across all programs including oversight of year-round operational and administrative projects. The position reports to the Executive Director as well as the Director of Exhibition & Programming and works collaboratively with additional Frameline manager and director level staff. The position will work closely with the internal Finance Manager, as well as external vendors including the box office ticketing vendor, and building and IT managers. Director of Distribution & Educational Programming
The Director of Distribution & Educational Programming manages three of Frameline’s six programs; Frameline Distribution, Frameline Voices and Youth in Motion. The ideal candidate will excel in overseeing strategy, implementation, and logistics for film acquisition, distribution, and educational programs, and developing and fostering relationships with key industry stakeholders (filmmakers, sub-distributors, platforms, broadcasters, media, educators, and organizations). The candidate must possess an understanding of and passion for LGBTQ+ film and media arts, and have a familiarity with queer communities. Learn more to apply.
Frameline seeks a detail-oriented and highly organized bookkeeper to assist our Finance Manager with day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the performance of general bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivables, entry of accounting transactions in QuickBooks and for certain ongoing processes such as reconciliations. The Bookkeeper will reconcile credit card transactions, monthly bank statements and line of credit. The Bookkeeper will create new vendors and customer in QuickBooks as needed, assist with filing and create new folders for new fiscal year, and assist with annual audit. Learn more to apply.
