Exploring the history of this diverse and iconic dance company, Rosalynde LeBlanc, a dancer and choreographer who was once a part of the company, and lauded cinematographer Tom Hurwitz (Studio 54, Frameline42) conduct emotional interviews with former members as they recount the joys and pains they experienced during the mounting of the cathartic piece that came to symbolize the company: D-Man in the Waters.
