Frameline's mission is to change the world through the power of queer cinema. As a
media arts non-profit, Frameline’s programs connect filmmakers and audiences in San
Francisco and around the world. Frameline's integrated programs provide critical funding
for emerging LGBTQ filmmakers, reach hundreds of thousands with a collection of more
than 250 films distributed nationally, inspire thousands of students through Youth In
Motion, which sends free films and curricula to schools across the nation, and creates an
international stage for the world's best queer film through the San Francisco International
LGBTQ Film Festival and additional screenings and cinematic events.

passion for LGBTQ cinema. The position oversees all phases of the Festival publications
production process ensuring production, copy-editing, proofing and publication of the
annual printed Program Guide, East Bay Mailer, and digitally published mobile-responsive

The Programming Intern will assist the Programming & Hospitality Manager who provides
direct support to the Director of Exhibition & Programming in all regards to film entries, film
reviews, correspondence relating to film entries, and programming of the Festival.

Marketing & Communications Intern
Frameline seeks an enthusiastic intern to support our outreach and marketing efforts
leading up to Frameline41: The San Francisco International LGBTQ Film Festival.
Responsibilities may include graphic design, copy writing, and content creation for
Frameline’s digital communications channels such as social media and website
updates. Additional responsibilities may be added based on time, organizational
needs, and the intern’s unique skills and interests.
