WHAT ELSE IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW ABOUT VISITING SF IN JUNE?

    • Bring layers. It can be unseasonably warm during the day and unexpectedly cold in the evenings!
    • There are plenty of amazing things to do in San Francisco. Don’t underestimate the joy of typical tourist fare such as Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz, Chinatown, the Ferry Building, or a mural tour of the Mission District. If you need a break from the dark dank world of films, stroll over to  Dolores Park. Sunshine and queers!
    • The GLBT Historical Society hosts the first GLBT History Museum in the US. Check it out!
    • Mission Dolores: You can go in and take a tour of the original mission and of the big cathedral, for a bit of local color. It’s the oldest intact building in San Francisco!

USEFUL TRAVEL SITES TO HELP YOU GET AROUND THE BAY AREA

Note: Although there are some bus lines that run all night on limited schedules, the MUNI and BART (subway and rail lines) end service around midnight.
