There are some pretty amazing people that make up our big queer Frameline family, and we want to shine a spotlight on those folks that keep Frameline running day-in and day-out.  So, we're introducing a new Member Spotlight to our blog and E-News -- look for interviews with really cool people every other week. How long have you been a Frameline member? Not sure, actually. Don't you have this in your records? I'm pretty sure it's at least 15 years. What do you look forward to in the Festival and what keeps you coming back? I love the unexpected delights and diversity of the films along with all the energy and excitement of the crowd. It's also a great time to reconnect with old friends. What's the most fun / craziest / life-changing thing that has ever happened to you during the Festival? Love the women's parties and mingling with all the cute girls! In one sentence, what does Frameline mean to you? Fun and moving stories about gay and lesbian people from around the world. If, for one day, you could meet one character from queer film history, who would it be and why? Del Martin & Phyllis Lyon in their early years from No Secret Anymore. Would love to step back in history and see how our movement started. If you could recommend one LGBT film to a queer youth, what would it be and why? Saving Face. Such a life-affirming, delightful film that transcends cultural boundaries. When you're not enjoying queer film, what else do you do? I'm an Engineering Director at Google working on building compelling products to help bring the other half of the world's population online in the developing world. Plus, I love to travel, the outdoors, and helping to make same-sex marriage a reality. Interested in sharing the member spotlight?  Join now!
